Mechanical Fitter

One of ETA's Clients are currently looking for skilled Fixed Plant Mechanical Fitters to repair and maintain their fixed plants on an ongoing basis. A suitable applicant would be responsible for efficient maintenance of fixed plant equipment with duties relating to crushing systems, conveyors, bins, chutes, feeders and pump rebuilds/maintenance. This position will work across the client’s surface and underground processing infrastructure.

What is needed to be considered?
• Australian Trade Certificate
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in fixed plant maintenance
• Experience with pump rebuilds, inspections, crushers, screens, belts and feeders
• Australian C Class Driver’s License
• Full Australian working rights
• Clean National Police Clearance
• White Card, Working at Heights, Confined Spaces, EWP and Forklift tickets
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical with D&A assessment
• Be immediately available
