Mechanical Fitter – Component Rebuilds
Darra Workshop || Up to $69.00/hr
AAMG is currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join our client's well-established workshop in Darra, Brisbane.
This is an excellent opportunity to secure a long-term role working on mining equipment components in a clean, safety-focused workshop environment.

Rates
- Day Shift – $60.00/hr casual flat rate
- Afternoon Shift – $69.00/hr casual flat rate
- Monday to Friday roster
- Weekly pay cycle
- Full PPE and uniforms supplied

- Opportunity to work on mining equipment – Cat, Liebherr and Komatsu
Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, you will be responsible for the overhaul and rebuild of mining equipment components including:
- Suspensions
- Wheel groups
- Cylinders
- Pump drives
- Transmissions
- Differentials
- Perform component rebuilds to OEM standards
- Conduct inspections and fault finding
- Utilise precision measuring equipment
- Maintain a strong commitment to quality and safety
- Work effectively both independently and within a team environment
- Mechanical Fitter Trade Qualification
- Experience rebuilding heavy mobile plant or mining equipment components
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Forklift Licence (Highly desirable)
- Dogging Ticket (Highly desirable)
- Commitment to safe work practices
