The Role:

Based at our Carrington Facility, we have a position vacant for an experienced Mechanical Fitter, with consideration also given to a Heavy Diesel Mechanic, to join our team. The position includes working on all vehicle types—from mine vehicles through to vacuum trucks and service vehicles—undertaking vehicle body assembly, servicing, repairs, troubleshooting/fault finding, and general maintenance activities.

To be considered for this role you will:

• Relevant Mechanical Fitter or Heavy Diesel Mechanic trade qualifications

• Experience working on vehicles and/or mobile equipment

• Hydraulic experience (desirable)

• Ability to work autonomously if required

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Strong time management skills

• Be physically capable to perform repetitive tasks – lifting, bending, twisting

• Current Driver’s Licence

• Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment medical
