Maintenance Electrician

We’re looking for a hands on, self driven Maintenance Electrician to join our Coldstores team in Wetherill Park. If you thrive in fast‑paced environments, enjoy solving problems on automated equipment, and want to grow your skills in PLCs, HMIs and automation, this is the role for you!

This position plays a critical part in keeping our packaging line running safely, reliably and efficiently. As our operation continues to grow, so will your opportunity to develop and take ownership of key systems on site.

What you’ll be doing:

•  Perform electrical maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs on automated packaging and conveyor equipment
• Complete preventative maintenance tasks and keep CMMS records accurate and up to date
• Support line changeovers and minimise downtime through efficient fault‑finding and setup adjustments
• Carry out minor electrical facilities work, including lighting, small power and coldstore infrastructure
• Perform basic mechanical maintenance tasks including bearings, shafts, and simple mechanical component work to support equipment reliability
• Coordinate contractors on site and ensure safe work practices, isolations and permit-to-work processes are followed
• Maintain documentation, electrical drawings and spare parts inventory

What we’re looking for

You’ll bring strong electrical maintenance experience and a proactive, problem‑solving mindset, along with:

• Current NSW Electrical Licence (Unrestricted)
• Experience in industrial maintenance - ideally in FMCG, warehousing, cold storage or automated environments
• Confident fault finding skills across sensors, drives, conveyors and automated equipment
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with production, contractors and the wider maintenance team
• Clear communication skills and a strong commitment to safety, compliance and documentation accuracy
