Machine Operator + Forklift

Location: Penrith NSW 2750

Hours of Work: 2pm to 10pm

Hourly Rate: $38.48 p/h

Our client, a major supplier of roofing and building materials, is seeking a Yard Hand with a current forklift licence to support their operations in Mona Vale. This is a Monday to Friday role offering a mix of indoor and outdoor work, and a great opportunity to join a well-established business. You’ll be responsible for forklift operation, general yard duties, and maintaining a safe and organised work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Processing both incoming and outgoing orders
• Picking, packing, and preparing goods for delivery
• Forklift operation
• Maintaining high standards of store organization and workplace cleanliness
• Assisting with the loading of orders onto trucks and for customer deliveries
• Unpacking goods and replenishing stock on shelves
• Performing general warehouse tasks

Essential Criteria:

• Current forklift licence (LF)
• Previous experience in warehousing, general stores, manufacturing or similar
• Physically fit and ability to perform manual handling 15-20kg regularly
• A positive, can-do attitude
• Previous experience in the sheet metal or building materials sector is highly desirable
• Driver licence and reliable transportation
• Unrestricted working rights in Australia
