About the Role
In this role, you will support the smooth operation of our logistics function by safely storing and delivering items, managing stock movements, and processing client orders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely prepare, pack, and dispatch store stock manually and via forklift
- Inspect disability equipment before delivery and after collection, reporting any maintenance needs
- Liaise with clinicians, Allied Health Assistants, and clients to coordinate equipment distribution
- Contribute to the development of work instructions and procedures
- Adhere to Novita’s work health and safety systems and report any unsafe conditions or practices
We are seeking a reliable casual Logistics Officer to join our team at our Hindmarsh site with the opportunity to also work at our Croydon Park office. Working hours across 8am – 5pm, Monday – Friday with occasional out of hours work during stocktake or high-volume periods
Skills And Experiences
Knowledge, skills and experience
We welcome applicants with previous warehouse experience and familiarity with computerised stock systems. However, we’re also open to providing on-the-job training if you can demonstrate:
- Basic computer literacy
- Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively under pressure
- Strong customer service focus
- Teamwork, initiative, and task prioritisation
- Alignment with Novita’s ICARE values
Essential Requirements
- Valid forklift licence.
- Valid driver’s licence and willingness to use your own vehicle for travel if required
- Current NDIS Worker Screening and DHS Working with Children Check, (or willingness to obtain)
