Purpose:
Responsible for the overall seed supply chain in the country, managing the entire order cycle to ensure the prompt delivery of the seed and customer satisfaction.

Key accountabilities:
1. Accountable for an optimal performing team, through a.o. leading, motivating, coaching, and developing assigned team members.
2. In the role of Key User responsible for participation in (sub) projects related to defining wishes and requirements with regard to software to be developed / configured, testing and implementing the new / adapted software for the own location, and training of users.
3. Accountable for inventory management, including allocation of seed lots to customer orders. Manage the destroy of seeds and obtaining authorization from HQ for execution.
4. Selection of carriers, negotiation of contracts and rates and evaluation of budgets and expenditures. 5. Accountable that all information, documentation and certifications related to compliance with legislation in Logistics is captured/stored in the designated systems and easily accessible.
6. Ensure compliance of all operations.
7. Provision of information in relation to complaints and claims. Responsible to get in contact with legal institutions about regulatory updates.

* Sales Support, Portfolio Management, Sales Managers - Close contact with regards to seed lot allocations in case of shortages.
* Customer Service. Warehousing Milling departments - Coordinate to ensure the smooth handling of customer orders.
* Sales, Seed Production, Quality, Seed Processing - Consult to conduct scheduling.

* Third party vendors - Coordinate to ensure the smooth handling of customer orders
* Public institutions - Keep up to date about legal regulations charges and to compy with export of seeds.

Higher professional level (HBO, Bachelor, College)
Minimum years of relevant work experience:
9 to 12 years
Required certifications, knowledge and skills:
* Educational background in business administration
* Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
* People (management) skills
* Driver's license
* Proficient in the local, English and at least one other language depending on the location, both written and verbal
Working conditions:
* Regularly works under pressure
* Potential strain of eyes and back muscles from regular use of a computer screen
* Occasional business travel (< 20% of the working time)
