Job Description

  • Report, maintain, and analyse statistical data pertaining to logistics activities; develop reports and dashboards to provide insights into key performance metrics.
  • Identify issues impacting on workflow and areas for process improvement; engage with key stakeholders to problem-solve and implement actions to enhance supply chain efficiency and warehouse productivity.
  • Analyse freight costs and transportation routes to optimise shipping efficiency; develop strategies to enhance communication and visibility throughout the supply chain to improve customer satisfaction and meet DIFOT expectations.
  • Present findings and recommendations to management for process enhancements and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Manage Import & Export co-ordination, compliance, and reporting.
  • Co-ordinate with 3PL warehouse operations.

Qualifications

  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data for planning purposes.
  • Experience with SAP ERP systems.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • At least 3 years' experience in analytics, preferably in a supply chain environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and hands-on approach.
  • Dynamic problem-solver with ability to adapt to changing environments.
  • Previous experience in import/export documentation, shipping, or administration.
  • Excellent organisational and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • APICS or similar professional certification (preferred).
