A well known global manufacturing supply business in the appliance sector is seeking a Logistics Analyst in their Supply and Procurement team to join the business for a 3 - 6 month contract that very well may be extended to permanent.
Your Next Role
As Logistics Analyst you will be responsible for logistics planning including the preparation and review of stock reports, weekly review and analyzing of component requirements, the review of order status, the monitoring of goods receiving as well as the managing of direct to site suppliers to ensure the smooth flow of material internal and external manufacturing operations. Your objective will be to ensure high levels of customer service ensuring the company meets its financial goals through scheduling and delivery of materials on time to production. You will be part of various functions within the logistics team that may involve Kanban scheduling, electronic ordering, scheduling, shortage reporting and follow up.

To be successful in obtaining this role you will:
You will be a Logistics / Procurement Analyst with experience with global shipping practices and the procurement of materials dealing with freight forwarders and suppliers. Ideally you will have experience working for a manufacturing company. You will have tertiary qualifications in Logistics or Material Planning. You will be intermediate to advanced with MS Excel. This position ideally suits someone who can start at short notice.
