Loader Operator Trainer

Location: Geraldton 
Roster: Monday to Friday (Residential role – Geraldton-based candidates or those willing to relocate only) 
Hourly Rate: $54.39 per hour + Superannuation + Bonus
Employment Type: Permanent

We're seeking a skilled Loader Operator Trainer who is genuinely passionate about sharing their knowledge and helping operators build confidence, capability, and safe operating habits. Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Deliver structured and engaging training programs for both new and experienced Loader Operators
• Provide patient, hands-on coaching that supports operators with varying learning styles and experience
• Lead practical assessments, simulations, and safety-focused training activities
• Support onboarding, probation reviews, and annual competency assessments
• Develop targeted coaching plans that build confidence, correct unsafe habits, and lift overall team performance
• Work closely with individuals who may need extra time, support, or encouragement

• Experience operating loaders in mining or bulk logistics environments
• Proven experience training, mentoring, or assessing loader operators
• Confident in delivering inductions, toolbox talks, and practical training sessions
• Strong knowledge of load distribution, weight compliance, and safety protocols
• Competent with Microsoft Office Suite for documentation, reporting, and tracking progress
• Capable of leading and supporting peer trainers across multiple sites
• Excellent communication, organisation, and follow-up skills
