Do you love facilitating learning, supporting educators, and bringing training content to life? If you’re an experienced ECEC professional with a talent for connection and coordination, this is the role for you!

Family Day Care Queensland (FDCQ) is seeking a Leadership Programs Coordinator to drive the exciting LAMP Leadership and Management Project on a fixed term contract until June 2027. Working four days per week at $50 per hour, you’ll play a key role in empowering home-based educators and services across Queensland.

What You’ll Be Doing

As the Leadership Training Coordinator, you will:

  • Lead the development and moderation of our brand-new online Leadership Hub—curating resources, creating micro-content, and sparking meaningful sector conversations
  • Deliver engaging online and blended training, facilitate networking sessions and communities of practice, and support regional leadership workshops.
  • Review and refresh existing training modules, working closely with e-learning designers to ensure content is high-quality, practical, and aligned with adult learning principles.
  • Collaborate across projects, contribute insights and evaluation data, and support continuous improvement across sector initiatives.

This is a dynamic and rewarding role where you’ll directly influence leadership growth and professional confidence across the FDC sector.

What You’ll Bring

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • An experienced early childhood professional (Diploma or Degree qualified)
  • Confident presenting, facilitating and supporting adult learners
  • Skilled in reviewing, rewriting, or enhancing training content
  • Digitally savvy, with experience using LMS platforms and Canva
  • Organised, collaborative and able to manage multiple moving parts
  • Passionate about leadership, quality practice and sector capability building

Bonus points if you have experience with TAE qualifications, micro-learning, online communities of practice, or previous work in not-for-profit or community services.
