What you’ll do
As a Lead Civil Engineer for our Energy group based in Brisbane, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering some of Queensland's most significant wind, solar and BESS projects.
Joining our growing Power Transmission & Distribution team, you'll help bring critical renewable infrastructure to life while influencing how projects are planned, designed and delivered from concept through to construction.
This is an opportunity to work across a diverse portfolio of energy projects, collaborate with industry-leading specialists, and make a tangible impact on Australia's energy transition. You will:
Lead civil engineering delivery across major renewable energy projects throughout Queensland.
Shape the design of critical infrastructure including access roads, hardstands, drainage systems, earthworks and foundation interfaces.
Partner with clients to solve complex engineering challenges and influence key project decisions.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams spanning civil, structural, electrical, geotechnical and environmental disciplines.
Champion practical, buildable and innovative engineering solutions that optimise project outcomes.
Support projects from early concept and feasibility studies through detailed design and construction.
Contribute to the growth of our renewable energy capability and mentor emerging engineers.
What you’ll bring
Relevant qualifications in Civil Engineering.
Experience delivering civil engineering projects within renewable energy, power, utilities or major infrastructure sectors.
Strong capability in earthworks, roads, pavements, drainage, hardstands and associated civil infrastructure.
Experience supporting or leading multidisciplinary project delivery.
A collaborative mindset, commercial awareness and a passion for delivering practical engineering outcomes.
Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills
The ability to see the big picture and challenge assumptions
