What’s on offer?
We wish to complement our existing team with an experienced Junior Accountant for our long term NBN Projects within our Fulton Hogan Utilities business in WA. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to drive your career further by leveraging your relevant industry experience, with excellent employee benefits and pathways for further growth.
In this role you'll be responsible for:
Coordinate with finance/ administration staff to ensure proper billing of costs
Raise purchase orders, receipt dockets and receipt invoices in JDE as required and setting up new cost codes in JDE
Refining existing procedure and processes as required or where possible
Collating information and consolidating into various Management reports as required
Ensuring internal monthly financial reporting requirements are met based on disciplined forecasting and tracking of revenue and costs
Any other administrative duties as required.
How you'll connect to the role:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent
Experience in a similar role preferably in an engineering or construction environment
Strong attention to detail with a can-do attitude and want to learn
Excellent multi-tasking and organisational skills and experienced in analysing and coordinating large amounts of data
Highly proficient in the use of MS Office and JDE and understanding of commercial principles
Excellent communication skills across both verbal and written mediums
