You have seen the headlines. You have heard the hype. The Reject Shop is now part of global retail giant Dollarama and we are building something big.
2026 is shaping up to be a defining year for our supply chain. Our store network is growing, our import model is evolving, and how we plan, position, and balance inventory across the network has never been more critical.
We are looking for an Inventory Manager to take ownership of our imported inventory flow and distribution strategy, partnering closely with Dollarama and internal Supply Chain teams to ensure stock is ordered, allocated, and positioned correctly across our Distribution Centre network.
This role is ideal for someone with strong supply chain or replenishment experience who can operate confidently in ambiguity, build new processes, and balance both operational execution and strategic thinking.
What you will be doing
- Managing weekly ordering with Dollarama, ensuring all orders are accurate and aligned to business needs
- Owning imported inventory flow, with stock arriving into Melbourne DC and distributing to WA and QLD accordingly
- Managing inventory balancing and transfers between Distribution Centres
- Partnering closely with senior Dollarama stakeholders to ensure clarity, alignment, and accuracy of orders
- Managing and communicating changes arising from the ordering process
- Providing clear import splits and inventory updates to the broader Supply Chain team
- Developing and embedding new processes to support the evolving import and distribution model
- Breaking down the workload across the week and managing competing priorities and timeframes
- Taking end to end ownership of inventory planning decisions and execution
- Identifying opportunities to optimise inventory positioning, systems, and ways of working
What you will bring
- 3β5+ yearsβ experience in Supply Chain, Replenishment, Inventory, or Optimization roles
- Strong understanding of DC operations and inventory flow within a retail environment
- Experience managing imports or working closely with import functions
- Strong planning and replenishment capability, with high proficiency in Excel and the broader Office suite
- Demonstrated experience developing, improving, or transforming processes
- Ability to think independently, manage ambiguity, and drive outcomes
- Strong stakeholder management skills, including confidence working with senior external partners
What we can offer you
- A key role shaping and building new inventory and import processes
- Exposure to global supply chain practices through our partnership with Dollarama
- Clear ownership, autonomy, and accountability in a growing function
- Opportunity to operate both strategically and hands on
- A stable role within a growing national retailer
- Employee benefits including paid parental leave, wellbeing initiatives, and EAP support
- A professional environment that values clarity, ownership, and continuous improvement
This is more than an inventory role. It is an opportunity to play a critical part in how The Reject Shop plans, positions, and moves stock across its national network as we enter our next phase of growth.
