What’s the role?

Are you looking for a rewarding full-time career with a great team? We’re seeking experienced Cleaners to join our team at Curtis Island on a Casual basis.

As a Cleaner, you'll play an essential role in maintaining a safe, clean, and well-organized environment for the team and residents. Your responsibilities may include:

Industrial Cleaning

• Cleaning offices, first aid room, ablution/ shower blocks, and lunch/ crib rooms
• Rubbish removal and restocking lunchrooms & kitchenettes
• Chemical handling and adhering to safety procedures
• General cleaning and maintenance of communal areas

What do you need?

• Previous cleaning experience ideally in an Industrial environment (preferred but not essential)
• Ability to work 10 – 12 hours per day.
• Physically fit to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen
• Self-motivated and capable of working both independently and as part of a team
• Current driver’s license and reliable transport (Early hours ferry commute required)
• Previous experience Bus Driving, highly desirable (and associated qualifications)
• Gladstone local (preferred), no FIFO
