WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Ampcontrol are seeking a new team member to join their High Voltage Field Service crew based in Brisbane, QLD. You will play a pivotal role in HV statutory testing, commissioning and maintenance of electrical installations as part of a professional and positive team.
Your natural ability to perform work to a high standard, and willingness to work closely with your team will be complemented by the following:

- Proven track record of working with HV electrical systems
- Ability to troubleshoot & diagnose issues in HV Systems
- Strong adherence to safety protocols and procedures
- Understanding of industry standards for HV work
- Service experience in the electrical trades/technical roles
- A commitment to providing exceptional client and customer service
- Team orientated person
- Ability to adapt to fast changing environments and situations
- Ability to learn quickly and deliver to set timeframes
- Prepared to travel regularly
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
- Electrical trade qualifications
- HV Switching certificate
- Protection Relay Testing
- Transformers Testing
- Switchgear Maintenance & Testing
- Earth Testing
- HV cable fault locating and testing (VLF / TD)
- Partial Discharge Testing
- Functional Performance Testing (FPT) & Compliance
- Supporting Preparation & implementation of commissioning plans
- Documentation of all work performed, including maintenance & customer reports
- Familiar in the use of: Doble F6150, Omicron CMC 256/356, Omicron CPC 100
