We’re seeking experienced HR Truck Drivers to join our Launceston Depot in a full-time, permanent role. This is a stable opportunity with a well-established logistics operator, offering consistent work and a strong safety culture.
About the Role
You’ll be responsible for the safe, efficient pick-up and delivery of freight, while representing Strait Link professionally at customer sites. The role suits drivers who take pride in their work, follow process, and value working in a supportive team environment.
Primary Responsibilities and Duties

Pick up and deliver freight safely and on schedule

Load, unload and restrain freight in line with safety requirements

Complete scanning, Proof of Delivery and consignment documentation

Comply with road rules, OH&S requirements and customer site procedures

Maintain professional presentation of yourself, the vehicle and freight
Skills And Experiences
About You

Current HR licence (manual preferred but not essential)

Minimum 2 years’ truck driving experience

Experience with general and/or express freight delivery

Strong communication and customer service skills

Familiarity with radio communication systems (preferred)

Knowledge of load restraint systems and National Load Restraint Guidelines (desirable)
