As part of our Asset Optimisation team, you are a senior leader driving underground mining performance across Gold Fields’ global operations. This pivotal role uses deep technical expertise to deliver safe, reliable, and cost-effective outcomes, embed best practice, and align priority projects with business objectives. You’ll influence operational leaders and champion improvement initiatives that create lasting value.

What You’ll Do

• Lead asset performance and improvement initiatives that deliver safe, predictable, cost-effective operations.
• Provide high-level technical guidance to operational leaders and mentor teams to embed best practices as a subject matter expert,
• Benchmark global KPIs, technologies, and processes; identify risks and opportunities to enhance performance.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders to ensure improvements align with business objectives and deliver measurable outcomes.
• Role model our core values and create a culture where every team member feels seen, supported, and valued.

This is a Perth based role, with travel to sites across Gold Fields. Flexibility to work across time zones and outside standard hours will be required.
