General labourers / Machine operators

We are seeking motivated and reliable abattoir general labourers / machine operators to join our growing meat processing team. These are full-time positions offering stable employment, competitive pay rates, and long-term career opportunities within a well-established Australian meat processing facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating processing and production machinery safely and efficiently
• Repetitive and heavy lifting 
• Assisting with meat processing and packaging operations
• Maintaining hygiene and sanitation standards in accordance with Australian food safety requirements
• Conducting routine machine checks and reporting faults
• Meeting daily production and quality targets
•  General labouring and housekeeping duties as required
• Manual handling of products and materials

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience in an abattoir, meat processing, food manufacturing, or production environment is highly regarded
• Experience operating machinery in a manufacturing or processing environment preferred
• Ability to work in a physically demanding and temperature-controlled environment
• Strong commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork
• Reliable transport and ability to work full-time hours
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude
• Australian work rights required
