Forklift Operators - Afternooon shift

Synergie is seeking Multiple Afternoon Shifts Forklift Operators for our client, who is Australia’s leading national logistics company located in Altona North, VIC.

• $43 per hour (afternoon shift rate)+ Super + Penalties
• Ongoing Opportunities
• Monday to Friday | starts between 3PM - 5PM and finish between 11PM - 1AM

What you will be required to do:

As a Forklift Operator, you will play a key role in safely operating forklifts, loading and unloading and supporting transport warehouse operations.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Operating counterbalance forklift to pick and put away stocks for incoming trucks
• Loading and unloading trucks and replenishing stock into racking
• Managing pallet movements, stock rotations, and ensuring accurate inventory placement
• Conducting pre-start checks and ensuring equipment is used safely and correctly
• Working in a fast-paced environment
• Maintaining cleanliness and organisation within the warehouse

To be successful in the role you will:

• Hold a valid LF Forklift Licence
• Have proven experience operating forklift in a transport logisitcs and warehouse/distribution environment
• MUST be able to load and unload items
• MUST be comfortable to start between 3PM - 5PM
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
• Be able to work effectively within a team and under time pressures
• Have good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions

Please note successful applicants will need to undergo Police Check and Medical.
