The Role

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Forklift Driver to join our Packhouse team. Reporting to the Production Supervisor or Production Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and safe movement of our fresh produce.

Key Responsibilities

General

• Operate forklifts and machinery in a safe, efficient and competent manner
• Complete forklift pre-start checklist, logbook and key register before operation
• Load and unload cold rooms, containers and packing areas with forklift
• Support your Manager to build a cohesive team that reflects Mulgowie Farming Company's values
• Report any maintenance requirements in your area to the appropriate person
• Comply with all policies and procedures regarding forklift operations
• Ensure work area and equipment is safe and safe work practices are followed at all times

People

• Work as part of the Packhouse Team
• Carry out Safety checks as required in line with policies, procedures and processes
• Provide encouragement and a positive influence for all peers
• Comply with all legislative, environmental, and safety acts as applicable to the state we work in
• Understand the operations being carried out and the hazards and risks associated with operations

Qualifications and Experience Required:

Qualifications

• Current Australian Forklift Licence (essential)

Experience

• Experience in forklift operations in the workplace

• Ability to maintain flexible work hours

• Ability to communicate appropriately across cultures
• Ability to set a good work ethic for team members
