Warehouse Team Leader
$28.14 - 30.27 per hour (dependent on matrix level) | Part Time Higher Duties

The Opportunity
Lead staff through the day to day operation of warehouse ensuring correct processing and control of foodstuffs. Assist in staff supervision and ensure high standards are maintained. Support Warehouse Manager and Supervisor in all aspects of daily warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities
This is an exciting opportunity to step up into a team leader role and play a key part in the day-to-day success of the warehouse team! You’ll:
• Place and monitor supplier stock orders
• Physically check all outwards deliveries to outlets. Liaise with outlets daily.
• Lead staff to ensure the correct receival, handling, storage and delivery of all goods required by the Division.
• Lead a team to achieve goals and to promote a positive working environment.
• Assist in staff rosters; Support Supervisor in all aspects.
• Ensure accurate input into SAP stock system
• Liaise with Purchasing and Supervisors regarding anomalies.
• Willingness to work at any VRTP warehouse as required
What We’re Looking For
Ready to build on your experience and grow into leadership? You’ll bring:
• A current Australian manual drivers licence is essential
• Must be a current team member who has completed their 6-month probation.
• Delegation skills for complete team involvement
• A Forklift licence is essential
• A high level of physical fitness for manual labour
• Previous experience in a similar position advantageous
• A high level of numeracy skills and accuracy
• Own transport and able to work from early mornings (5:30am starts)
• Ability to work on any day including weekends and school holidays essential
• Prior SAP knowledge inventory stock system
