The Opportunity
Downer’s Energy & Utilities is seeking experienced Casual Fitters to join our outage team in Gladstone, QLD. In this role, you will support critical shutdown and maintenance activities, carrying out the inspection, maintenance, repair, and overhaul of pumps, valves, conveyors, rotating equipment, and associated mechanical assets. Working closely with operations and maintenance teams, you will help ensure plant equipment is returned to service safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. Successful candidates will join our casual pool for ongoing outage and maintenance opportunities.
About You
• Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade
• Drivers Licence
• White Card / Construction Induction
• Working at Heights and Confined Spaces – both completed within last 2 years
• Must be able to obtain a QLD Explosives Security Clearance
