FIFO Refrigeration & Airconditioning Technicians (HVAC)

About the Role
We are currently seeking qualified Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Technicians for multiple FIFO opportunities based in Kalgoorlie.

Whether you're experienced in commercial HVAC or looking to work across fixed plant maintenance within the mining sector, we have positions available to suit your background.

Commercial HVAC (2:1 FIFO)
Get involved in end-to-end HVAC work across commercial and industrial sites, from installs and commissioning through to servicing, preventative maintenance and urgent breakdown response on a range of systems including split, ducted, VRF/VRV and packaged units.

Fixed Plant HVAC (8:6, 7:7 or 2:1 FIFO)
Join the maintenance team delivering preventative maintenance, breakdown response and project work across fixed plant and processing facilities within major mining operations.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Fault finding, diagnostics, servicing and repairs across HVAC and refrigeration systems
• Preventative maintenance and breakdown response in commercial and mining environments
• Installation and commissioning of commercial HVAC systems and associated equipment
• Working on chillers, VRV/VRF systems and other specialised commercial plant
• Fixed plant HVAC cooling system maintenance and optimisation
• Underground refuge chamber HVAC system servicing and compliance checks
• Split system, evaporative cooling and gas heating system servicing and repairs
• Cool room maintenance, fault diagnosis and replacement works
• Supporting project delivery across commercial, industrial and mining sites
• Ensuring all work is completed to high safety, quality and compliance standards

Key Requirements for Success

• Current ARCtick Refrigerant Handling Licence
• Certificate III in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning
• West Australian Restricted Electrical Licence
• Valid Australian Driver’s Licence
• National Police clearance (within 12 months or willing to obtain)
• Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical and Drug & Alcohol screen
• Full, Unrestricted Australian working rights. Visa sponsorships are not available for this position
• Candidates must be currently residing in Western Australia
