We are seeking Trade Qualified Carpenters looking to join the DeltaFM team on a Full-Time basis. Permanent Ongoing works available at our Olympic Dam site, on an even time 14&14 Roster of Days Only. You’ll be joining a small, established Village maintenance team. Positions commence from March 2024, FIFO from Adelaide Airport (60 Minute flight). DIDO options are available for local applicants. This role is available now.

THE POSITION

• Reporting directly to the Maintenance Supervisor, ensuring continuity of essential Building and Engineering services in a complex environments including Village, Housing & Mine Sites
• Constructs, erects, installs, and repairs structures and fixtures of wood, plywood, and wallboard, conforming to local building codes
• Reactive maintenance and assisting other trades
• Prioritise and attend to urgent requests
• Ensure all the activities are performed in accordance with moral, ethical, legal standards and maintain best FM practice.

THE PERSON

• Hold an Australian Recognised Carpentry Trade Certificate III or equivalent
• Pass a Pre-Employment Medical including Drug & Alcohol Screening
• Full C Class Drivers Licence, White Card
• National Police Clearance within 12 months
• Well versed in all maintenance process and workplace health and safety regulations
• Be a current Compass Group Team Member
