Your tasks
As our Field Service Technician QLD, you’ll be the face of Melitta on the road, supporting our customers with the installation, maintenance and optimisation of their coffee equipment.
In this role, you will:
Execute service orders assigned by our central planning team
Install and commission coffee machines at customer sites
Conduct operator training on coffee machines and attachments
Set up coffee recipes and machine programming to customer requirements
Perform planned (preventive) maintenance on coffee machines
Diagnose and carry out reactive maintenance and repairs
Prepare technical service reports for each service order
Provide clear feedback to customers on the work completed and next steps
Share recommendations for product and process improvements
Support the sales team on technical topics when required
Participate in our after-hours on-call roster when needed
Take part in training, conferences and trade fairs to stay up to date
Your profile
You’re a hands-on technician who enjoys being out in the field, solving problems and talking to customers.
You’ll be a great fit if you have:
2–3 years’ experience in a field service technician role
(Coffee machine experience is a plus but not essential – full training provided)
Strong practical skills in mechanics, hydraulics and basic electronics
A customer-focused mindset with good communication skills
Willingness to travel within NSW and stay away from home when required
Confidence using standard computer programs for reporting
A self-motivated, organised and reliable working style
