We currently have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Industrial A-Grade Electrician to join our team as a Field Service Technician in Melbourne.
An attractive remuneration package with outstanding overtime opportunities are on offer. The role is supplied with tool of trade items including fully maintained company vehicle, tools, uniform, mobile phone and laptop computer.
WHAT YOU WILL BE WORKING ON
Hands on role delivering high quality electrical and mechanical support
Contract repair, preventative maintenance, installations and emergency breakdown services for Dematic customers in the Melbourne region
Participation in the on-call roster and flexibility to work overtime including some weekends
Flexible to work day and afternoon shifts as part of the work roster.
Tasks and Qualifications:
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
A-Grade Electrician (VIC recognised)
Experience in troubleshooting/problem solving equipment faults
Strong customer focus and quality service delivery
Australian Electrical trade licence (or will consider restricted electrical licence)
PLC experience in Siemens S7 and Scada WIN CC is ideal
Experience in automation (conveyors) and material handling equipment highly regarded
Experience in computerised maintenance systems (CMMS)
Experience in mechanical and pneumatic systems
Experience in hydraulic systems an advantage
Ability to work unsupervised, make decisions and be results driven
Strong understanding of WHS requirements and safe work practices
Current driver’s license mandatory
Excellent verbal, written and inter-personal communication skills
