CEA is seeking an experienced Field Service Technician to join our Rockhampton Branch. This role is ideal for qualified HD/Plant Mechanics or HD Fitters who enjoy working in the field and supporting customers across the region.
Working as part of a supportive and experienced service team, you’ll be responsible for delivering safe, efficient and compliant diagnostics, servicing and repairs to our customer base.

About the Role
- Perform field‑based diagnostics, maintenance and repairs on heavy and mobile equipment
- Diagnose and fault‑find mechanical issues to support efficient repairs
- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently and in line with compliance requirements
- Provide a high level of customer support and technical expertise
- Work autonomously in the field while contributing to a broader team environment
About You
- Trade‑qualified Diesel Mechanic, Plant Mechanic or similar
- Demonstrated experience servicing and repairing mobile equipment within mining, construction or heavy industry environments
- Strong diagnostic and fault‑finding capability in field‑based mechanical work
- Customer‑focused, with an understanding of service delivery and support expectations
- Ability to work unsupervised and follow procedures and instructions
- A team player who actively promotes company values and safe work practices
- Current, unrestricted driver’s licence
- OEM experience is highly regarded, but not essential
