Experienced Steel Fixers Wanted — North Brisbane to Sunshine Coast
CJ Recruitment GlobalCJ Recruitment Global is sourcing experienced steel fixers for an established steel fixing contractor working across North Brisbane, Chermside, the Sunshine Coast and through to Gympie. This role is suited to steel fixers who can read plans, work independently when needed, and bring a reliable, site-ready attitude. You’ll be joining a steel fixing crew with over 130 years of combined industry experience, working across a range of reinforcement projects including slabs, footings, stairs, walls, tilt panels, jump/core forms and pre-fabrication works.
What’s on offer
- $50 per hour casual
- 8-hour days, Monday to Friday
- Time and a half after 8 hours
- Some Saturday work available, paid at time and a half for 4 hours
- Ongoing work for the right people
- Sites across North Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast
- Work with an experienced steel fixing crew that knows the trade properly
What we’re looking for
- Experienced steel fixers
- Ability to read plans
- Able to work independently when required
- Reliable and ready to work
- Willing to travel between North Brisbane and Sunshine Coast sites
- White Card required
- Own transport preferred due to site locations
- Good attitude and ability to work as part of a crew
The work
The contractor is involved in steel fixing across a mix of site-based reinforcement works and pre-fabrication, with projects ranging from slabs and footings through to more detailed structural reinforcement packages. The right person will be comfortable working as part of a crew, following plans, keeping pace on site and getting stuck in where needed.
