About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Estimator who will join our established team and support our growing pipeline of projects across remote Australia and the Pacific.

This position would suit a well-rounded, tech savvy Estimator who enjoys developing accurate cost plans and participating in the full tender process.

Reporting to the General Manager – Construction, you will work closely with our project and bid management teams to produce competitive tenders, prepare cost estimates (large and small) and support the business in securing future works across Australia and the Pacific.

This is a permanent position based in our Brisbane or Perth head office.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing detailed cost estimates, budgets, and tender submissions in line with company standards.
• First principal based estimates for all trades including Hydraulic and Electrical.
• Analysing drawings, specifications and scopes of work.
• Engaging with suppliers, subcontractors and internal stakeholders to obtain competitive pricing.
• Reviewing and developing estimating templates, tools and workflows.
• Leading the implementation and adoption of a revitalised internal or external estimating tool.

Skills and Experience

The ideal candidate will have:

• Minimum 5+ years of estimating experience within civil, infrastructure, or commercial construction. Regional or remote locations would be advantageous.
• Familiarity with estimating software and a keen interest in digital improvement.
• Strong attention to detail and sound commercial acumen.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a geographically dispersed team.
