A career-defining opportunity has now presented to join our Fulton Hogan Construction business as Package Manager to support the upgrade of the Airfield on the Cocos (Keeling) Islands (CKI) which are located 3,000km north-west of Perth in the Indian Ocean, and boasting two coral atolls comprising of 27 smaller islands.
This stand-out once-in-a-lifetime project will complement your skills and experience and will allow your efforts to enhance infrastructure and play a critical role in improving the lives of the local community.
This position will report to the Construction Manager and will be FIFO to the Cocos and Keeling Islands on a 2:1 roster. As a key member of the project team, you will lead the delivery of various construction, airfield and enabling works packages, and partner with key stakeholders and supply chain to develop and implement all necessary handover processes and deliverables for multi-disciplinary works in accordance with relevant specifications and standards. You will be highly capable at interface management, and resource co-ordination, whilst working collaboratively across a diverse and complex environment.

We’re seeking suitably demonstrated project management and delivery experience, with relevant tertiary qualifications. You will have a sound understanding of defence contracts and experience working in a remote environment where you will be accountable and responsible for a sizeable package of civil works. You will have an innate ability to develop and maintain strong relationships, be able to support, mentor and effectively lead a project team to strong delivery, and promote a positive workplace culture based on trust, respect, and high performance.
