Electrical Fitters & Trade Assistants | Switchboard Manufacturing | Arndell Park NSW

Ongoing work through to December 2026 | Immediate opportunities available

Add Staff is currently seeking experienced Electrical Fitters and Trade Assistants to join a busy electrical manufacturing team based in Arndell Park, NSW.

Our client is a well-established Australian manufacturer specialising in commercial and industrial switchboards and power distribution solutions. Due to continued growth and increased project demand, they are expanding their production team and are looking for reliable, motivated people to join them.

About the role

As part of the manufacturing team, you will be involved in the assembly and production of commercial and industrial switchboards. Duties may include:

• Switchboard assembly and electrical fitting

• Electrical wiring and installation of components

• Mechanical assembly and component installation

• Reading and interpreting electrical drawings and schematics (Electrical Fitters)

• Assisting with production, material preparation and workshop tasks (Trade Assistants)

• Conducting quality checks and maintaining high workmanship standards

• Working safely within a structured manufacturing environment

About you

Electrical Fitters:

• Trade qualified Electrician or Electrical Fitter

• Previous experience in switchboard manufacturing, electrical assembly or industrial electrical work

• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics

Trade Assistants:

• Previous Trade Assistant, manufacturing or workshop experience preferred

• Electrical or switchboard manufacturing experience is highly regarded

• Good mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn

For both roles, you will also have:

• A strong work ethic and reliable attendance

• High attention to detail

• The ability to work well in a team

• A commitment to workplace health and safety

What's on offer

• Electrical Fitters: $57.00 per hour + super

• Trade Assistants: $40.00 per hour + super

• Ongoing work through to December 2026, with the potential for extension
