Your Impact

We have an exciting opportunity for an Electrician to join our team at our iconic Abbotsford brewery. As an Electrician supporting the entire Abbotsford site, you will work closely with a team of production operators to support in day-to-day production activities, collaborating with your team to problem-solve equipment or process related issues, maintenance and calibration of field instrumentation, PLC units and SCADA systems; and ultimately deliver on our vision to bring enjoyment and connection to everyday moments in life through the production of our iconic beverages.

Please note: This role will require the ability to work on a rotating roster as additional coverage, typical shifts are 8-hour day, afternoon, and nights shifts Mon - Fri. As an additional coverage role your roster will change from time-to-time based on site needs. 

 

About You

To be successful in this position you will require:

  • A-Grade Electrical License
  • Experience in a maintenance environment 
  • Experience in FMCG or Food manufacturing 
  • Programming skills (SCADA / PLC)
  • The ability to investigate issues, and proactively determine a solution
  • Strong communication skills, and the ability to build positive relationships with wide range of people
  • An eagerness to learn from others, and a commitment to developing your skills
  • A passion for safety, and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment for yourself and others

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Support the day-to-day production schedule to achieve performance targets
  • Routine maintenance and calibration of field instrumentation, PLC units and SCADA systems
  • Investigate and participate in problem-solving for process related issues 
  • Maintaining a safe work environment for yourself and your colleagues, by committing to safety procedures and PPE requirements
  • Adapt to changing operational needs, and reliably deliver production and process work as required
