Earthmoving Plant Operator (General)

JLE Group is an industry leading electrical engineering and contracting company based in Dubbo – Servicing the regional hub of the Central West NSW for 20 years.  

JLE is accredited Level 1,2&3 ASP’s & specialises in HV and LV power systems including Overhead & underground distribution works for all utility works. 

We have some great employment opportunities & are looking for Earthmoving Plant Operators to be a part of our dedicated team!

Areas of responsibility:

• Operate the plant in an efficient and safe manner
• Complete daily servicing of plant.
• Complete daily pre-start checks on plant.
• Participate in weekly toolbox talks.
• Communicate via radio with other operators to let them know of your site location.
• Coordinate with other operators to get the plant filled.
• Fill out equipment hire order docket daily.
• Develop an understanding of Maas Group WHS policies and procedures.
• Ensure that all required PPE is being worn at all times whilst on site.
• Follow all instructions from leading hand.
• Hazard identification through active participation in the risk assessment process.
• Participate in daily pre-start meetings

Knowledge, experience and attributes sought: 

• Ability to carry out work as instructed by leading hand.
• Hold a current WHS white card (or equivalent)
• Good communication skills
• Current driving licence
• Enthusiastic team member
• Adaptability
• Use of initiative, pro-active and organized approach to work
• Teamwork
• Truck licence (preferred but not essential)
