About this role

Join a team where great document control is recognised as a critical part of project success. As our Document Controller, you'll play a central role in supporting the delivery of major engineering and infrastructure projects by ensuring project information is accurate, organised, accessible, and compliant. Working closely with project teams, clients, and stakeholders, you'll oversee the flow of documentation from inception through to completion, helping maintain consistency, quality, and efficiency across all project records.

This is an opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who takes pride in creating structure within complex project environments. You'll be trusted to manage document control processes, maintain the integrity of project information, and ensure compliance with project requirements, regulatory standards, and company procedures. Your ability to deliver accurate information at the right time will directly contribute to successful project outcomes, supporting safe, efficient, and on-time project delivery while upholding CoMade's commitment to quality, accountability, and excellence.

How you can support CoMade

  • Degree or post-secondary school training or TAFE certificate in Business Administration, Information Management, Library Sciences, or a related field. Additional certifications in document or records management are beneficial.
  • Min 3+ years of experience in document control or records management, preferably within sectors like construction, engineering, or related industries.
  • Proficiency in using document management systems and a strong understanding of industry-specific documentation standards are essential.
  • Ability to meticulously manage and organize large volumes of documents without overlooking minor details.
  • Strong organisational and planning skills to manage multiple tasks and documents efficiently.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities for clear interaction with team members and stakeholders
  • Melbourne based role and must hold full Australian work rights with no restrictions
