Diesel Mechanic/Heavy Vehicle Mechanic

Synergie is seeking either a Diesel Mechanic, or a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to carry out maintenance, repairs and servicing of prime movers, trailers and civil equipment. This permanent role offers flexible start times and the opportunity to work with a close-knit team dedicated to quality and safety.​​​

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on diesel-powered heavy vehicles and equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues.
• Carry out detailed inspections, testing, and servicing to identify and address problems.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed and parts used.
• Servicing on Prime Movers, Trailers and Civil Equipment.

What we’re looking for:

• Formal qualifications in Diesel Mechanics or Heavy Vehicle Mechanics.
• Extensive experience (3+ years) in the repair and maintenance of diesel-powered heavy vehicles and equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently and accurately.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Commitment to safety and compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
