Diesel Fitter – Specialised

We want you:

FMS Group’s division - Safety Lift Solutions is strengthening our team, and we are seeking an experienced Diesel Fitter who’s ready to step into specialised major-component work across WA, QLD and NSW.

This role suits someone who enjoys working on large excavators and shovels, has strong hydraulic aptitude, relishes technical challenges, and takes pride in being part of a high-performing, safety-focused team. You’ll gain exposure to specialised work that most fitters never have the opportunity to be involved in, including machine de-decking, undercarriage jacking, slew bearing replacements, track frame change-outs, machine recoveries and machine relocations.

We operate throughout WA, QLD and NSW, with established bases servicing the Pilbara, Southwest, Bowen Basin and Hunter Valley regions. We offer a High-paced work environment, strong technical variety, and ongoing projects.

The successful applicant, will have:

• Relevant Trade Qualification
• Experience working on heavy machinery   
• Coal Board Medical
• Standard 11 Statement of Attainment
• Problem solving and decision-making skills
• Great communication and interpersonal skills
• Have the proven ability to liaise with both management and clients
• Uncompromising attitude to safety
• Ability to meet site requirements
