Summary:

The CW3 Rigger/Dogman plays a crucial role in the Building and Construction industry, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of materials on site. Based in Docklands, Victoria, this permanent full-time position requires a skilled individual who can work collaboratively with the construction team to facilitate various lifting operations, contributing to the overall success of projects while adhering to safety regulations and industry standards.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the planning and execution of lifting operations, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
• Select and inspect rigging equipment, including slings, chains, and hooks, to ensure they are in good working condition.
• Communicate effectively with crane operators and other team members to coordinate lifting activities.
• Monitor and control the movement of loads, ensuring they are lifted and lowered safely.
• Maintain accurate records of rigging equipment and lifting operations.
• Conduct regular safety checks and participate in safety meetings to promote a safe working environment.
• Provide guidance and support to less experienced team members in rigging practices.

Qualifications:

• Valid CW3 Rigger/Dogman certification.
• Proven experience in rigging and lifting operations within the construction industry.
