We wish to complement our existing team with experienced Construction Workers for our Water/Civil Projects within our Fulton Hogan Utilities business. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to drive your career further, and gain industry relevant experience, with on-the-job skill development/coaching offered throughout. In this role you'll be responsible for:

  • General labouring duties on civil works projects

  • Site preparation for civil works

  • Formwork preparation, minor steel fixing and ability to conduct small concreting jobs

  • Making sure works are completed safely, on schedule and to a high standard

  • Use of various hand and power tools

  • Maintain and operate safe, clean and secure plant and equipment

  • Assist in additional aspects of construction as required.

How you'll connect to the role:

  • Experience in water or wastewater networks, ideally with hands-on pipeline work, Trade qualifications (desirable, not essential)

  • Proven pipelaying experience (highly desirable)

  • Current driver’s licence and Construction Induction Certificate (White Card)

  • MR truck licence, Dogman ticket and EWP ticket (desirable)

  • Experience working at heights and in confined spaces

  • Reliable and punctual, with a positive attitude and strong on-site problem-solving skills
