ConsultANZ is looking for a Construction Manager to join our team working on a significant project for our client in Auckland. The ideal candidate should have a background in general civil engineering, with expertise in areas such as road infrastructure, drainage systems, structural engineering, water management, concrete works, earthworks, and utility installations.
Managing construction delivery for your section of works, including subcontractors and self-delivered works.
Checking and managing valuations prepared by subcontractors.
Ensuring all site activities and operational delivery comply with HSE legislation.
Overseeing the planning, scheduling, and budgeting for your section of works.
Reporting on project progress and costs.
10+ years of relevant experience, ideally in general civil works, and a relevant degree in civil engineering or a related field.
A strong understanding and demonstrable experience in general civil engineering and technical elements.
Previous work history with an established civil construction, roading, pavements, asphalt, or structural engineering company.
Expertise in a wide range of areas, including road infrastructure, drainage systems, concrete works, earthworks, structural engineering, water management, and utility works.
Practical, hands-on approach with excellent communication and people skills.
