Permanent Full-Time – (35 hours per week)  

The role:
Council has an exciting opportunity for a motivated and passionate Civil Engineer to join our Strategic Assets team. This is a hands-on, varied role where you’ll contribute to meaningful projects that shape our community’s future.
You’ll be involved across the full project lifecycle, supporting survey and design work, project and asset management, Renewable Energy Zone development assessments, and technical reporting on major infrastructure projects. You’ll also play a key role in developing and maintaining forward works programs that guide the renewal and upgrade of Council’s infrastructure assets.
In this role, you’ll help bring Council’s asset management strategy to life by reviewing, improving, and updating infrastructure asset management plans and policies, and by integrating asset data into Council’s asset management systems. - A salary range from $1828.10 – $2047.50 per 35 hour week (based on relevant skills and experience) + 12% super + 3.5% Civil Liability Allowance.

Our ideal candidate will:
- Hold a Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field and will have previous experience in a similar role.
- Have knowledge of surveying, road infrastructure design, asset management practices and project management, as is experience in use of Auto CAD or Civil CAD or equivalent and some drafting skills.
- Experience in the use of Asset Management Software.
- Previous Local Government experience would be desirable for this role.
