Casual Farm Hand

We are looking for two Casual Farmhands to help our Production team on our next Production run of our Olive Leaf Extract products. Based onsite at our Olive Grove Estate in rural Queensland, this role would be to support the farm supervisor in daily activities. 

You would be ensuring the long-term productivity of the Olive Grove through effective and timely grove maintenance, fertilizer application and pest and disease control. You will also be responsible for leaf chipping and wedding around the farm. 

About you: 

As we have a small but mighty team, we are needing someone who is a team player, happy to work together but also confident to work independently. So the ability to pick-up tasks quickly and help out where needed is integral to this role. Alongside these important things; you would also have the following qualities; 

• Experience working on a farm or grove is ideal
• Health and Safety focused 
• High attention to detail and strong work ethic. 
• Strong team player with good communication skills. 
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the role – lifting up to 20 kg on a regular basis. 
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions. 
• Basic computer skills

As this role is requiring an immediate start, we are looking for candidates who have pre-approved working rights in Australia. We are open to those candidates who have Working Holiday Visa's and need onsite farm work to get their 88 days.
