Boilermakers and 2nd Class Welders

About the Role
Join a growing Queensland engineering and fabrication company in Hemmant. We’re seeking experienced Boilermakers and 2nd Class Welders for workshop and site work.

• Workshop roles: fabrication, independent work, reading drawings
• Site roles: MIG, Stick, and Flux Core across multiple metals
• Hours: 8–10 per day, with overtime as required
• High performers may be considered for ongoing work

Skills & Experience

• Boilermakers: trade-qualified with proven fabrication and welding skills
• 2nd Class Welders: welding tickets or extensive welding experience
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Experience with mild steel, structural steel, stainless steel, and aluminium
• Work independently using hand tools and PPE
• Strong safety awareness and site compliance

Tickets & Licences

• Boilermakers will require a Trade Certificate
• 2nd Class Welders: relevant welding tickets (preferred)
• White Card, Forklift ticket, own transport
• Working at heights ticket preferred
• Unlimited working rights in Australia
