The Opportunity
Downer’s Energy & Utilities business has opportunities for casual Boilermaker’s to join our outage team at Kogan Creek Power Station. You will provide your expertise within an outage environment performing routine and reactive maintenance on plant equipment. This will include boiler pressure-part inspections including tube leaks, hanger alignment, and structural supports. This is a casual role, and successful candidates will join our casual pool for ongoing work opportunities.
About You
- Trade Certificate III – Fabrication Trade
- Drivers Licence
- White Card / Construction Induction
- Working at Heights & Confined Spaces – both completed within last 2 years
- Gas Test Atmospheres and Advances Confined Space Entry – Highly regarded
- Experienced in the safe use of hand tools and equipment required to perform tasks
