This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a 3-4 month contract in Jandakot. Our client is a market leader in fabrication of structural steel fuel tanks.
Key Responsibilities
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, fabrication drawings, weld maps, and specifications.
- Marking out, measuring, cutting, and preparing plate and structural steel components for tank fabrication.
- Fabricating tank sections, shells, cones, roofs, floors, nozzles, and associated steelwork to specification.
- Performing FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding) on carbon steel plate and structural components in various positions.
- Conducting fit-up and assembly of tank components, ensuring dimensional accuracy and compliance with drawings.
- Using fabrication equipment such as oxy-cutting gear, grinders, magnetic drills, plate rollers, and other workshop tools.
- Carrying out gouging, grinding, and weld preparation activities as required
