Are you a skilled Auto Electrician with a background in buses or heavy vehicles? Join a leading and well-established transport services company in Brisbane, where your expertise will help keep critical fleets on the road.

The Role:

We are seeking a Qualified Auto Electrician with proven experience in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining the electrical systems of buses, trucks, or other heavy vehicles to work in a fast paced manufacturing environment.

This is a hands-on role in a supportive team environment, with opportunities for career growth and further training.

You will be required to have a flexible approach, be extremely organised and employ good time management skills, along with a strong safety focus. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, diagnose and repair electrical faults in buses and heavy vehicles

• Install and maintain wiring systems, lighting, and electronic control units (ECUs)

• Conduct inspections, preventative maintenance, and compliance checks

• Work collaboratively with workshop staff to ensure timely delivery

• Maintain accurate job records and adhere to safety standards

• Accurate data entry and processing of paperwork

• Some medium to heavy lifting required

About you:

• Trade qualification as an Auto Electrician (Certificate III or equivalent)

• Experience with buses, coaches, or heavy vehicles essential

• Sound knowledge of modern diagnostic tools and software

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Current driver’s licence (HR licence highly regarded)

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
