Our industry-leading team of groundwater technical specialists are recognised for their experience, knowledge and innovation. With global coverage, our team offer a unique blend of consulting, government and industry expertise delivering tailored solutions for a range of sectors including, mining, extraction, and closure and rehabilitation, major road, rail and transmission infrastructure, and renewable energy.

We’re looking for an experienced and passionate Associate Director or Senior Associate to join our international team, based out of our Brisbane office, bringing additional support as we continue to grow our capabilities. You will have the opportunity to work on interstate projects of national significance as part of our national delivery model, with potential opportunity to work on international projects serviced from our offices in Canada.

Here’s what you can expect in your new role with EMM:

  • As a technical leader, you play a significant role in scoping and delivering water management projects across hydrogeology, water management and mining sector, providing expert knowledge on strategic planning and Water Stewardship.
  • Your expertise will allow you to provide quality advice to your peers, assisting them in developing their own skills and technical knowledge.
  • You’ll join a leading team and leverage opportunities to work with our existing clients, whilst your deep industry knowledge and strong local network will help you in identifying broader opportunities in Queensland.
  • With a national delivery ethos, you’ll have the opportunity to work on large-scale projects across Australia. Your expertise will make a difference from coast to coast.
  • You’ll collaborate across the Groundwater team and have the backing of other leading multi-disciplinary teams across EMM.

Here’s what you’ll bring to have impact:

  • You’ll ideally bring 20+ years experience and a strong background solving complex mine water management issues.
  • Deep understanding of the Queensland market, and ability to be able to identify opportunities within our key markets; Mining, transport infrastructure and renewable energy.
  • Experience and continued desire to mentor technical teams, ensuring the on-going development of others.
  • Strong abilities reviewing and guiding technical projects with a focus on delivering high quality outcomes, with a best for project focus.
  • Respect – you listen and understand other’s views and work together to create opportunities for all
  • Integrity – you do what is right for your stakeholders to deliver what is true as opposed to popular
  • Humility – you understand the strength of humility and that no one is bigger than the team.
