About the Role

As an Assembly Fitter at Reece ReFire Islington, you’ll play a key role in the assembly of critical fire protection equipment that helps keep buildings and people safe.

You’ll be responsible for assembling control valve assemblies and pump start kits, working from technical drawings and specifications to ensure all products meet quality, safety and compliance standards.

Your Day to Day

• Assemble fire protection components including control valve assemblies and pump start kits
• Interpret technical drawings, schematics and specifications
• Fit, align and secure mechanical components with accuracy and attention to detail
• Inspect assembled products to ensure quality, compliance and functionality
• Identify and report faults or defects and assist with troubleshooting where required
• Contribute to a safe, clean and well‑organised workshop environment
• Support team members and contribute to delivering high levels of customer satisfaction

About You

• Trade qualification
• Experience in sprinkler fitting (ideal)
• Strong understanding of fire protection systems and components
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and written instructions
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• A proactive approach to safety and continuous improvement
