The ideal candidates will have a proven track record in aluminum welding, demonstrating precision, efficiency, and a commitment to quality. You will play a crucial role in fabricating and repairing aluminum structures and components, contributing to the success of diverse projects.
 

To be considered for this role, applicants must:

• Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in aluminum welding.
• Provide supporting documents, such as payslips, employment evidence, a valid passport, and police clearances.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints and project specifications to understand welding requirements
• Prepare aluminum parts for welding, including cleaning and fixing components before the welding process.
• Use welding equipment to fabricate, join, and repair aluminum parts and structures in accordance with project specifications.
• Apply knowledge of metallurgy and welding techniques specific to aluminum to ensure strong and durable welds.
• Conduct tests on welded surfaces, such as inspection for defects, to ensure the quality and safety of the weld.
• Adjust welding equipment according to the specific types of aluminum being welded to prevent distortion.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment by adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely completion of welding tasks and to address any project-specific challenges.
• Keep up-to-date with advancements in welding technologies and techniques, especially those related to aluminum.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in aluminum welding.
• Professional certification in welding, with a specialization in aluminum welding techniques.
• Strong understanding of welding equipment, settings, and maintenance.
• Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labor tasks.
• Proficiency in English, both verbal and written, for effective communication within diverse teams.
