Temp to Perm | Caboolture | South-East QLD Projects
701 Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Advanced Scaffolder for a Leading Hand position with one of our established clients.
This is a hands-on role working across a range of commercial, industrial and maintenance projects throughout South-East Queensland. The majority of the work involves aluminium scaffolding, including more complex structures.
About the Role
- Lead and work alongside a team of scaffolders
- Erect, alter and dismantle scaffolding
- Work from plans, drawings and site requirements
- Inspect scaffolding and identify safety issues or defects
- Install guardrails, toe boards and other safety equipment
- Communicate with site supervisors, engineers and other trades
- Use power tools and scaffolding equipment
- Ensure all work is completed safely and to the required standards
- Help train and support junior scaffolders
- Advanced Scaffolder qualification/licence
- Minimum 5 years' scaffolding experience
- Previous Leading Hand or crew-leading experience
- Experience with complex or high-risk scaffolding
- Ability to read and understand scaffolding plans and drawings
- Valid driver's licence
- Strong safety focus and attention to detail
- Comfortable working at heights and outdoors
- Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Commercial, industrial or structural scaffolding experience highly regarded
- Confined Space ticket highly desirable
Some projects are within the wastewater industry, so you must be willing to obtain the Hepatitis A & B vaccination if required.
